Portraits from the jungle

The exhibition ends today. It was a good experience to tie up the workshop with a retail event at Moonriver Store. The smaller pieces flew off the shelf real fast but the larger ones were difficult. The over-all response is encouraging though, as the products helped perceive the immense potential of the art form.
For those who could not go to the exhibition, I will be posting some of the key works here. I start with "Portraits from the jungle". This is a collage of 15 small paintings. Each amimal is depicted in a characteristic pose that shows the artist's familiarity of the subject. Normally the subjects are placed in the centre of the frame. I have tried to compose the paintings differently, with the animals cut off and re-appearing at different points of the frame.
